Plango Terms of Service (Terms of Use)

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Plango platform. By using Plango, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.

1. About Plango

  • Plango is a social activity platform
  • Users can discover activities and meet new people
  • Users can book or host activities
  • Plango only connects users and does not organize activities
  • Users are responsible for their own safety and conduct

2. Eligibility

  • Users must be 18 years or older
  • Provide accurate information
  • Create only one personal account
  • Use the service in compliance with laws
  • Accounts may be suspended for violations

3. User Accounts

  • Users must provide name, phone/email, profile photo, and interests
  • Users are responsible for account security
  • Keep login credentials confidential
  • All activity under the account is user's responsibility
  • Report unauthorized access immediately

4. Activities and Bookings

  • Users can create, join, and book activities
  • Plango does not guarantee attendance or behavior
  • Users are responsible for safety and conduct
  • Users must comply with local laws

5. Platform Fees

  • Plango charges a 25% platform service fee per booking
  • Fee supports maintenance, payments, safety, and support
  • Fees may change in future with notification

6. Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellation 1 hour to 30 minutes before activity

  • 50% refund to booking user
  • 25% paid to participant
  • 25% platform fee retained

Cancellation within 30 minutes

  • No refund to booking user
  • 75% paid to participant
  • 25% platform fee retained

Participant does not show

  • Booking user receives 75% refund
  • 25% platform fee retained

Booking user does not show

  • No refund issued
  • 75% paid to participant
  • 25% platform fee retained

7. Payments

  • Payments handled by third-party providers
  • Plango does not store full card details
  • Only transaction records are stored
  • Payments subject to provider policies

8. User Conduct

  • Users must behave respectfully
  • No harassment or threats
  • No explicit or inappropriate content
  • No scams or fraud
  • No illegal activities or impersonation
  • No unauthorized commercial use
  • Violations may lead to suspension or ban

9. Safety Disclaimer

  • Plango does not conduct background checks
  • Identity verification is not guaranteed
  • Meetings are not supervised
  • Users must take personal safety precautions
  • Meet in public places and inform someone

10. Ratings and Trust System

  • Users can rate each other
  • Ratings help maintain trust
  • Fake ratings may be removed
  • Abusive users may be restricted or suspended

11. Content Ownership

  • Users can upload content like photos and messages
  • Users grant Plango license to use content in platform
  • Content must not violate copyright or laws
  • No abusive or hateful content allowed

12. Account Suspension & Termination

  • Accounts may be suspended for policy violations
  • Fraud or unsafe behavior may lead to termination
  • Plango may remove accounts for safety reasons

13. Privacy

  • User data handling is explained in Privacy Policy
  • Using the service means consent to privacy policy

14. Limitation of Liability

  • Plango is not responsible for user behavior
  • Not responsible for disputes between users
  • Not responsible for injuries or damages
  • Service is provided as-is without warranties

15. Indemnification

  • Users agree to indemnify Plango from claims
  • Applies to misuse, violations, and disputes

16. Changes to Terms

  • Terms may be updated
  • Users may be notified via app
  • Continued use means acceptance

17. Governing Law

  • Governed by laws of India
  • Jurisdiction: Rajasthan courts
